Get to Know Us
Kailor Education Center is a computer skills and foreign language learning center in Phieng Luang, Phou Koud District, Xieng Khouang (Laos) that works to intervene in cycles of poverty by providing English, Chinese, Computer education, and leadership to those in need. Kailor Toua Jing Education Development Center (“Kailor Education Center”) has provided English, Chinese, and Computer programs to low-income residents in our rural Laos section since 2013.
Lao PDR
is one of the poorest countries in the world, with an average monthly income of $120-$180. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and current inflation, this income has fallen even further.

from 2021 to 2024, over 1,696 students left higher education, vocational education, and teacher training, while nearly 100,000 primary, lower, and upper secondary school students discontinued their education. There are multiple reasons for this situation. Poor infrastructure makes access to schools difficult and some children do not attend school because their families cannot afford the costs or because children work to support family income
